Activities

I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage at all times to support under 5's learning. Children in the EYFS learn by playing and exploring , being active, creative and critical thinking, indoor and outside. Play is essential for children's development, intellectually, creatively, physically, socially and emotionally. Through play children can explore, develop and represent learning experiences that help them to make sense of the world, build up ideas, concepts and skills.

I make systematic observations and assessment of each child's achievements, interest and learning styles.

I have a range of toys for children to play at my setting, they are accessible to children at all times.I attend the local children's centre, parks, local shops and library which holds fun activities/ groups for them to enjoy. I also provide extra activities for children to learn and explore, for example: trip to Dudley Zoo, Chasewater Railway, Birmingham Sea Life, Farm and etc.
